The Cadets have just returned from a wonderful weekend of fellowship and fun at Caspers Wilderness Park in South Orange County. The days were filled with good food, hikes, games, water fights, and a tour of the nature center. The nights were filled with more good food, a lesson from a local astronomer and fireside chats.

We especially thank Rick Wickstrom whose planning and attention to detail went above and beyond the call of duty and made for a flawless trip. We give thanks to Pastor Andrew for the study and preparation that lead to the excellent outdoor worship service on Sunday morning. We thank all the men who came to support our church, and we thank the LORD for blessing our time together.

Please remember to keep our youth in your prayers, praying for the continued success of our Sunday schools and youth programs.

The next meeting of the Men's Book Club will be on August 30th at 6:00 p.m. We will meet at Timothy Kilgore’s home (1515 East Benmore Lane #1) in Anaheim. We are in the process of updating the sermon links on that page, and soon we'll have Rev. Souza's series on 1 Peter, Malachi, Jonah, and other sermons he has preached, as well as other classes he has taught. Please make sure to check back!

Join the Cadets on a summer camping adventure July 25-26th.  Adventure includes:  outdoor games, hiking, tenting, BBQ and campfires at nearby Casper's Wilderness Park.  This is a great opportunity for fellowship and fun. Those who wish to participate can inquire and sign-up at the table located outside the sanctuary after service on June 29th. You may also e-mail Rick Wickstrom at: niners007@aol.com.  This camping trip is open to all boys ages 8 and up.  Father’s of cadets are encouraged to attend with their sons.  For additional information click on the GEMS/CADET link on the right hand side of this page (current schedule of events).
